Today begins the start of the Big Ten tournament, and with few teams with much to play for. One of those teams, though, is the Illini. We’ll see how they fare.

Fear not, Illini fans! Rob has good news — and one way or the next, the season isn’t done.*

After suffering two home losses in a row, Illinois is looking at do or die everytime out. McColley reports on the odds of earning an at-large berth come mid-March.

The Illini took a moment to have some fun with the Big Ten Network in town today. If the Illini drop to Minnesota in a “must-win” game this Saturday, the mood will be anything but.

The Illini shot significantly better than the Boilers, but were defeated by double figures. How so? Needless to say, Bruce Weber wasn’t happy about it…

In what is looking to be a season where each game played will likely decide the Illini’s fate, the playeres are looking ahead in terms of what it means to win, and do it again.

After Seth went silly on a rant about DUI, resident lawyer-cum-basketball journalist Rob McColley decided that only he could clear the air about what should really happen in such cases. Part one starts now.

Illinois’ worst home loss since 1976 has promptly inspired Rob to move on and look ahead at the future of the Illini basketball team. And it looks very bright.

Rob gets some pre-game thoughts from Illini players in advance of what is now a battle for first place in the Big Ten. Ohio State visits the Assembly Hall tomorrow at 12 p.m.
