Maize is hiring for their Downtown Champaign location

Perhaps one of the biggest questions circling around the Champaign-Urbana restaurant scene over the last few years is: When is the Maize location in Downtown Champaign opening?

Well, per this post on Craigslist, it may be the closest it has ever been to hosting humans to eat there.

For a while now, this location — previously occupied by Cafe Luna — has been a host to their commecary for their incredibly-high-demand catering services. Also, you could rent the space for a party. They are just trying to keep up with that component of their business.

Is this an indicator that the location will be open soon? They are hiring a variety of positions for the Downtown Champaign location, so it looks likely.
