Kofusion’s new location on Main Street is open, and here’s the menu

The Downtown Champaign restaurant is now open at their new location. Just a little bit south from their previous location, KoFusion is now in the huge white building at 30 E Main Street in the former PNC space.

The new location has onsite parking in a lot on Main Street. Parking here is free for patrons of the restaurant between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Inside KoFusion, it is very big and pretty. The marble floor was sparkling clean, and there was a big airy waiting area when you walk in. We waited about five minutes before being greeted for a table. You can make reservations online or just walk in to the restaurant.

There are two dining areas inside, a bar, and a large outdoor seating area beside the parking lot.

Recently renovated, the restaurant has gray, white, and black as the main colors. To me, it felt a little sterile without much color.

Outside under the covered patio, there were so many tables. This might be the biggest covered outdoor seating that I’ve seen in town. There were lots of available tables, and I could see this being a great place for a family gathering or a group of friends getting together for drinks and sushi al fresco.

Even though it was raining when I went for lunch yesterday, our table stayed dry. I ordered sushi rolls, pork belly ramen, veggie tempura, and some ginger drinks from the menu. It was all very good, but it was an expensive lunch.

Here’s a look at the menu for Kofusion’s new location.

The plastic menu was so new that it was hard to lay it flat, but I wanted to show you all the sushi options. KoFusion offers signature rolls, classic rolls, sashimi/nigiri, sushi combinations, and sushi bowls.

There were quite a few cocktails on the bar menu, and there are several options for sake and beer as well.
