Summer Swing Lessons & Dancing
It’s summer, a perfect time to try something new and fun. Come dance with us at the Illini Swing Society’s FREE weekly Thursday night dances, starting June 25th.
Social dances are every Thursday from 9-11 p.m., June 25-July 30th. There’s no cost to join the dance and no special shoes or partner needed!
You don’t know how to dance or you’re ready to learn more? Then we have you covered with two different classes at 8-9pm: Beginning Swing & Continuing Swing. Student rate is only $25 dollars for the whole session and non-students are $30 for the whole summer session. Like an even better deal? Then register online at www.illiniswing.org for an additional $5 off! Classes will be June 25th–July 30th (no class July 2nd).
Lessons and dances are located across from the UIUC campus, at the University Place Christian Church (UPCC), Champaign (at E. Stoughton and S. Wright Street). Go to the back entrance, take the elevator to the spacious basement level and you’re there.
