EDITOR’S PICK: ORANGE SODA, MARVIN THE ROBOT, NECTAR
Mike ‘N Molly’s ($7) — Saturday, June 7th at 8 p.m.

A really interesting show takes Editor’s PIck this week — one that has a local flavor mixed with a touring act. Orange Soda has a really wild sound, after an EP release from a couple of years ago, their live performances are few and far between. Electro-punk is a good way to put it, but listen to the Thirst EP for yourself and you’ll get an idea. Columbus, Ohio’s indie punk outfit Marvin the Robot joins, and Kamila Glowacki of Kowabunga! Kid takes the stage for the first time under her new moniker/full band Nectar. She just released a collection of songs, so check that out here.
