EDITOR’S PICK:
THE DIRTY FEATHERS, WICKED WALLS, WE THE ANIMALS
Cowboy Monkey ($5) — Saturday, February 1st at 9 p.m.

A really awesome all-local bill lined up at Cowboy Monkey on Saturday night. Both the Dirty Feathers and We The Animals are coming off of great sets at the Great Cover Up last Thursday. The DFs covered Iggy & The Stooges and We The Animals did No Doubt (with dancing bananas, mind you), which were both stellar sets. They’ll go back to their usual routine of their own music, and they’re joined by another great local band in Wicked Walls. Five bucks for these bands is very reasonable, and worth your time this week in C-U music.
