YWCA of the University of Illinois has an ongoing program, Strive, which equips women with the digital skills needed to advance in the workforce. The next session begins next week, with classes in Rantoul on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and online on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
The course is free, and participants are provided with a Chromebook. It covers the Google applications: gmail, Docs, Calendar, and Sheets, as well as online safety and how to apply for jobs online.
Those interested in participating can register online or contact Brandi at 217-344-0721.
