As I’ve posted about before, kombucha is having a moment (you can now buy growlers of it from Harvest Market). Delight Flower Farm is hosting another edition of Kombucha with Flowers: A Home Brew Workshop Sunday, July 1st from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at their farm (4410 N Lincoln Ave, Champaign; DFF shares land with Prairie Fruits Farm).
Register for the class here ($20 per person). Attendees will learn
how kombucha works, and how to make their own at home using simple ingredients and supplies. The class will take a short farm tour and will harvest herbal flowers from Delight Flower Farm to brew the tea. We will go through the entire process from start to finish, and participants will be able to sample home brew kombucha and herbs/edible flowers.
