You can camp in the meadow at Allerton on June 1st

If you’ve ever wanted to have this experience, one that’s not available often, here’s your opportunity. And what a great time of year for camping, before the humidity and the bugs really kick in.

It’s a part of Love for All(erton), a concert event — the first of their Summer Concert Series — happening June 1st from 5:30 to 9 p.m. There will be music from Carl Anderson and Devon Gilfillian and food trucks, and then you can make a whole excursion out of it by setting up camp in the meadow.

The concert is free, though a $5/person or $10/family donation is recommended, and it’s $20 per tent and two adults for camping. Additional adults are $10. Reservations are limited, so it would be to your advantage to get on that and get your spot. You can find the details and guidelines here.

If you’re an early-ish riser (and it’s hard not to be when you’re sleeping outside), then you can join in Community Yoga at 8 a.m. the next morning. Again, donations are suggested.
