Smile Politely

William Gillespie publishes book, celebrates with wine, merriment, etc.

Keyhole Factory Book Release | Corkscrew Wine Shop | Tuesday November, 13th | 6-8 p.m.

Yesterday, William Gillespie sent me one of the more exciting emails I’ve had the privilige to receive in some time, and so I thought I might share it with you, Smile Politely reader, in hopes that you’ll find time in your busy schedule to make it over to Buvon’s on Tuesday the 13th. I also hope you’ll buy his book. I know I will.

After ten years of writing, seven seeking publication, my creepy novel Keyhole Factory will be published Tuesday the 13th by Soft Skull Press, a notorious independent publisher whose origins are documented in the film Horns and Halos.

For those in the Champaign-Urbana area, there will be a book launch party at Buvon’s wine bar (in the Corkscrew Wine Shop just north of Vine and University) from 6-8 Tuesday the 13th, with a brief reading from the book at 7. I’ll have just a few copies available there at a somewhat discounted price.
