To all staff members on behalf of Dr. Robert Malito, Interim Superintendent:
From Beth Shepperd:
I have resigned my position with the District effective November 4. It has been a pleasure to work with such an outstanding group of administrators. I will miss you, and I will remember our work together with great pride in a job well-done. Thank you for all the hard work that has benefited the children in Unit 4. It has been an honor to be a part of it.
In addition, Susie Solis has resigned effective November 1. We wish them well in their new endeavors in the East St. Louis school district. The Board and I are committed to keep the needs of students first and foremost as we move forward with the changes here at Unit 4.

An anonymous source passes along word that Unit 4 staff have been informed that Deputy Superintendent Dorland Norris has resigned, effective October 28. Early speculation has Norris joining former Unit 4 superintendent Arthur Culver’s staff in East St. Louis.
