UI Extension seeking Money Mentor Volunteers

Money Mentor volunteers help others work towards their financial goals by providing quality education and financial coaching. You can find mentors throughout Champaign and Vermilion county, often meeting with their mentee (the person asking for help) after work, perhaps at a library or coffee shop. Friendly emails and phone calls between meetings also encourages continuing progress towards financial goals. Mentors encourage and nudge mentees when it gets tough – you can’t pay for this kind of help! Instead, it takes volunteers willing to share their time, patience and knowledge for this kind of mentoring to happen. Thank you University of Illinois Extension Money Mentor Volunteers for your work in the last year!
