Connor Grant, U of I alumnus and member of Sean Lennon’s group Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, has released a new LP through his other project, Tongues Unknown. The self-titled album is a debut release for the act, put out during a GOASTT hiatus. Grant’s project echoes the idiosyncratic psychedelia of GOASTT, but with more of a guitar-and-drums rock feel propelling the melodies.
This release comes ahead of a tour that will take Grant back to the area; Tongues Unknown is playing at Canopy Club on January 15th with Phantom Broadcast.
