Listen in to a relative newcomer to the Champaign-Urbana scene, Tyson and the Friction, tonight at 10 p.m. on WEFT Sessions. Led by Tyson Markley, a longtime Peoria-area musician who used to play moog with The Red Hot Valentines, and Dylan Stanford, the electronic duo love to blend Devo with The Rentals. They’ll also be opening for The Appleseed Cast on April 23 at The Canopy.
