On Saturday, April 27, The Virginia Theatre will host Clements Comedy Cafe. On today’s episode, we’ll speak with Tony Clements and Champaign Park District Marketing & Development Director Laura Auteberry about this year’s event and how it all got started. The Clements Comedy Café is a two-hour night of humor and music featuring the clean comedy of Tony Clements, a 25-year veteran of the entertainment business.
We will also discuss the newly refurbished Virginia Theater with Laura. The Theatre just reopened last week and is currently hosting Roger Ebert’s Film Festival. Plus, we will try to get an early look at some of the events the park district has planned this summer.
