The UP Center is hosting a community town hall

C-U Pridefest may be over, but The UP Center of Champaign County is still hard at work. They will be hosting a community town hall on Thursday, October 12th at the Champaign Public Library. The session will go from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and invite folks to give input on how the center can best serve the community. Attendees can also learn more about how they might serve the center. Specifics below from their Facebook event. The event is free, but please RSVP on the event page.

The UP Center needs your help! As a community-supported organization, we need your input for how best to serve you, as well as your help to make it happen.

We are hosting a town hall forum, open to the public, to talk about ways to help the UP Center better serve its community, and how members of the community can take a more active role in supporting the Center.

Possible ways to support UP:
-Events/Programming Planning
-Development/Finance
-Social Action
-Outreach/Marketing
-Facilitate a support group
-Join the Board of Directors
-Any other ways you can think of to jump in!
