The Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant will be serving lunch again soon

The Red Herring Vegetarian Restaurant posted on Facebook that it will reopen this August, and that is great news. The restaurant closed in December with no reopening date, but in that time, the radically inclusive campus staple has continued making Bucket Brigade meals and has hosted open mic nights, queer dance parties, yoga, Earth Day Open House, and more.

The restaurant is currently seeking new management. The Facebook post by the restaurant reads:

We’re looking to hire 1-2 managers with a passion for vegan cooking who’d like to be a part of both testing our simplified model in fall and building Red Herring into the future. We’ll be posting job descriptions on various platforms soon, but we wanted to reach out to our community first. Please help us spread the word, we’ll be accepting applications until we find the right candidate(s). Thanks for your love and support.

You can follow the restaurant on Facebook or Instagram. While we anticipate the return of lunch service from The Red Herring, you can find the tasty vegetarian food at Common Ground and Harvest Market.
