Do you ever throw on some Pavarotti while cooking pasta to make you feel fancy? Doesn’t it make your $1.29 box of pasta taste just that much more Italian, if only in your mind? If you do this at least once a week like I do, then mark your calendars for October 23rd because The Four Italian Tenors will be heading to Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. This performance in the Foellinger Great Hall will feature all the big arias you sing along to when you think no one can hear you: “Una Furtiva Lagrima,” “Questa o Quella,” “La Donna è Mobile,” “Nessun Dorma,” and a ton of other hits by Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti, and others. Maybe take this as an opportunity to treat yourself: go out for some nice Italian food and hear some wonderful Italian tenors.
Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
