Summer Camp announces full lineup for 2021 festival

Like all music festivals and large events through the pandemic, Summer Camp Music Festival, operated and owned by Urbana-based Jay Goldberg Events & Entertainment, has had a rough go at it. They’ve had their sights set on celebrating their 20th anniversary, and after postponing once again to August 20-22 earlier this year, things are looking up. The festival announced their additional acts for their celebration, which you can read about below, as it seems like things will be in a much better place by the time late August rolls around.

From the email blast:

ATTENTION FELLOW SCAMPERS:

It’s been an exhausting year, but the excitement of again welcoming an amazing list of artists to join us for our 20th anniversary celebration has our spirits soaring. We are thankful to share the artists that will be moving to our new 20th Anniversary celebration, taking place August 20-22, 2021 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL.

We welcome back long time hosts moe. and Umphrey’s McGee plus headliners, WeenBilly Strings, Three Six MafiaGRiZRezzSTS9 and Tipper among others. Although we are disappointed that not all previous artists could make it, we are excited to get to share the joy that everyone’s favorite pre Summer Camp ritual brings – new artist announcements!! Stay tuned for the hype in the coming weeks.

Together, we’ll make this an unforgettable weekend, SCampers… We are currently working hard to elevate this already stellar lineup by adding new artists & activities.

We’d like to also remind all ticket holders that if you choose to roll over your current tickets to the rescheduled dates, there are no necessary steps to take. We sincerely thank each and every one of you that has, and will continue to hold your tickets. Your support during these difficult times has meant the world to us and allowed us to continue to plan for our return. For the ticket holders who will be unable to join us due to the date change, refunds will be made available to anyone requesting them between now and April 2nd at 11:59pm CST.  However, remember if you are a current ticket holder and do think you will be likely to attend, the ticket you have is likely the lowest cost ticket you will find available as ticket prices will increase as we get closer to the festival.

More details and the link to the refund request form can be found at SummerCampFestival.com/SC2021. All ticket buyers should receive an email regarding refunds today.
