Krannert Center for the Performing Arts has announced an exciting collaboration between its CultureTalk series and SITI Company’s Talking into the Future series will take place on April 1st.
The following information comes directly from the KCPA announcement:
SITI Company’s Talking into the Future series meets Krannert Center’s CultureTalk, activating creative friction and bold questions; exploring the art of assembly in all its forms; and investigating the challenges of our time. This vibrant installment of the series features a conversation between SITI Company co-artistic director Anne Bogart and New York Live Arts founding director Bill T. Jones; both SITI Company and the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company have performed multiple times on Krannert Center stages. The event is presented in collaboration with SITI Company, New York Live Arts, and CultureTalk campus partners and is offered free of charge by Krannert Center.
This live-streamed event will last approximately 75 minutes. Audience members will not appear on camera and will have the opportunity to write questions in the online chat area throughout the event for consideration during the question and answer portion. CultureTalk can be viewed through April 8 at 5pm.
CultureTalk is a collaborative initiative of the Office of the Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts, the Center for Advanced Study, the Humanities Research Institute, and Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
