Every theatre season, there is a weird blip in the calendar when the Station Theatre is dark for an extra week. Those of you who follow local theatre with crazy, obsessive attention to detail — and you know who you are — will recall that there are usually only 10 dark days between productions. In the spring, however, there is always a show that gets an extra week “in the space” before it opens. This year’s recipient of the extra week of rehearsal is Christopher Durang’s Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike, a comedy directed by Station Theatre artistic director Rick Orr.
To tide you over until the show opens on Thursday, March 27th, here is the Station’s “trailer” for the play.
