The return of Prairie Fruits Farm On Farm Sales is this week. Each Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., you can stop by the farm to pick up fresh cheese, gelato, and other goodies from a handful of other local vendors.
Third Friday Pop-Ups will also return this week. Bring your beverages of choice and a lawn chair, and get some dinner on the farm between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Here’s the menu:
Rootbeer glazed pork belly sandwich with garlic mayo, pickled jalapeno, & slaw
Pulled BBQ chicken on a biscuit
—- both sandwiches served with black eyed pea & kale salad
Blue Moon green salad with Huckleberry Blue, pickled shallots, radishes, and spiced pecans (vegetarian)
Jalapeno cheese spread with house made “Ritz” crackers
Pie by the slice — Buttermilk or Chocolate Chess
