On Monday, University of Illinois students in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism started a two week trek across the Midwest and Northeast to “parks, historic sites, athletic venues, halls of fame, & more” as their department pointed out. They made a stop at Niagara Falls, and the folks at this historic site lit up the falls as orange and blue just for them — this happened last year as well, as Julie pointed out.
