Bob Dylan has major connection to C-U because of his role in making Farm Aid a reality, but apparently he shares writing credit on two songs titled Champaign, Illinois. Former SP Music Editor John Steinbacher dug into that story in 2010, when Dylan was about to perform at the Assembly Hall. It’s worth taking a few minutes to read.
