Two locals have launched a new live music project called the Geppetto Sessions. Apparently, the sessions are recorded in some mysterious place in Urbana called Gepetto’s Workshop. As of right now they have put up sets on their Bandcamp page from Clayton Thompson, Bad Catman, Erik Nelson and Ryan McCoy/Mikael Brackett. And “sources” tell me they will soon post music from Mark Mandeville and Rainne Richards, Dylan Hubbard and Savage Pyle and Kirk Donely. They also have more live performances scheduled — I’m guessing you can probably go watch if you can figure out how to get there. This might help you.
