Krannert Center shared the Intermezzo Cafe chocolate chip cookie recipe

The Intermezzo Cafe at Krannert has always had some pretty solid desserts, and now you can make and enjoy one of them at home. Pastry chef Kelly Darr shared the recipe for their giant chocolate chip cookies. Seems like a good thing to add to your list of items to bake.

Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Add the eggs one at a time and mix until combined. Add vanilla. Scrape the bowl to ensure everything is mixed together. In a separate bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the flour mixture to the batter. Once everything is combined, add the chocolate chips and mix just until combined. Scoop the cookies on to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for approximately 12 minutes depending on the size of the cookies.
