KAM Fest opening night celebration is happening August 30th

On Thursday, August 30th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Krannert Art Museum will be hosting KAM Fest, a free event that is open to the public. There will be music, food (free Maize tacos!), and an opportunity to check out new art exhibitions — including a student pop-up art exhibition. Here are all the details: 

KAM Fest is a free art museum experience for Illinois students and local community members featuring:
• New art exhibitions, including Chicago art from the KAM collection
• Student art pop-up exhibition
• Free Maize Mexican Grill tacos!
• Live music performances by The Data Waves and JONT500
• Screen-printing demos with the Noble print club (and giveaways of free fresh pressed t-shirts and tote bags)
• Opportunities to stay connected and get involved (sign up to become a free student member)
