The Illini 4000 Bike America Team is making their way through their home stomping grounds of C-U tomorrow, June 11 around 2 p.m. The student-run organization from the University of Illinois bikes from New York City to San Francisco each summer, and has done so since 2007. They raise funds, hope and awareness for cancer research.
They’ll be arriving tomorrow on campus as the Alice Campbell Alumni Center. If you’re interested, go show your support for the tremendous task they’re attempting to accomplish by biking across the entire United States and discuss their journey thus far with the members of the team.
