Honduran garment workers at LER tonight at 5:30 p.m.

Received an email from the LER’s Helena Worthen:

The Workers’ Rights Consortium is taking a group of Honduran garment workers on a tour of various universities that have contracts with the garment manufacturer, Russell, to talk about conditions in the Russell factories in Honduras. There is a struggle going on in that factory and they are asking for assistance.

Wagner Education Center Room 43 has been reserved for an open meeting to allow Labor and Employment Relations people and the campus community to meet with them. Time: 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 (tonight).
