This is just a friendly reminder that now that winter weather is here for a while, it’s important that you clear your sidewalks in Champaign and Urbana. You can read Champaign’s and Urbana’s guidelines and timelines for removal if you need a refresher.
Shoveling is hard work, and if aren’t able to do it yourself, perhaps find a strapping teen to do the work for a little bit of cash.
Many people need the sidewalks to safely get to work, home, or to walk their dogs, and the last thing anyone wants (or needs) is someone busting their butt, leg, arm, or skull on some icy patch of sidewalk in front of your house.
