Here are some C-U pies in honor of Pi Day

Today, March 14th (3/14) is Pi Day, a worldwide celebration of the Greek letter π, the symbol used in math to represent a constant measuring approximately 3.14. It is a delicious opportunity to eat pie, and lucky for us, we have great spots to get pie in C-U.

At Cafe Kopi, The Brown Bag pie slices like chocolate pecan. Steph recommends the buttermilk pie with berries from Lucky Moon Pies, and check out Remington’s full review of Lucky Moon Pie’s strawberry pie, banana cream pie, salted honey pie, and an individual pot pie.

Carl loves the coconut cream pie at Po Boys. At Seven Saints, I like to get a slice of drunken pecan pie. Last fall, this pumpkin pie from Jarling’s caught Julie’s eye. Jess shared indulgent desserts at The Courier Cafe including a slice of Courier’s peach pie. If you’re craving more than sweet pie, enjoy one of Stango’s handmade beef pies.

Sadly, C-U’s pie food truck Oh Honey Pie announced on Facebook that they would be taking a break from pie-making being, but we love both the sweet and savory pies from the pie truck.

Let us know where you like to get your Pi Day pie in the comments or email us.
