Have you voted in your city’s primary yet?

There will be a consolidated election on April 6th for several positions in Champaign and Urbana. There are a handful of races that have a primary, because more than one person is running for a partisan position. Early voting is happening now, and the primary election day is February 23rd. Beginning today, these are the places you can vote early in person:

Brookens Administrative Center – Lyle Shields Meeting Room

  • Today to February 19th – Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 20th – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 21st –  1 to 5 p.m.
  • Monday, February 22nd –  8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Illini Union, Leonhard Recreation Center, Meadowbrook Community Church, Parkland College Student Life Center, The Church of the Living God

  • February 15th to February 22nd – Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 20th – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, February 21st – 1 to 5 p.m.

Want to vote by mail? You still have a few more days to request your primary ballot. February 18th is the last day to request online. If you vote on primary election day, you can do so at your precinct or at any universal location. Find that information here. If you need to register to vote, you can do that at any early voting location.
