Giertz Gallery at Parkland University has made it known that most of the works displayed at their current exhibition, Around the Block are for sale. Gallery monitors have price sheets, just ask if something catches your eye and would look good above your couch. While many businesses in town are proud to display and sell local artists’ work, it’s always good to have one more venue, especially one designed and dedicated to displaying artwork.
The show runs through August 6th, so there’s no pressure to make a snap decision. The gallery’s hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
