Locally-based water advocates Prairie Rivers Network will be leading a bicycle tour of Champaign rain gardens this Saturday, September 21st in celebration of It’s Our River Day.
We will bike to four different Champaign properties, meet with residential rain garden owners, and talk with City of Champaign staff about the new stormwater utility fee and associated rain garden incentive program.
This first-ever Rain Garden Ramble will be about 6 miles from 2-4 p.m. We’ll end our tour by refueling at Custard Cup (on you).
