For Black History Month, Unit 4 meal boxes will have items from Black-owned businesses

It’s February which means it is Black History Month. In honor of Black History Month, Champaign’s Unit 4 schools’ meal boxes will feature items from Black-owned small businesses each week in February.

Today, February 1st, Wood N’ Hog has partnered with Unit 4 to provide meal boxes. The meal from Wood N’ Hog includes pulled chicken, cornbread, and baked beans.

Meal boxes can be picked up on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Booker T. Washington, Garden Hills, or Jefferson Middle School. If you need to sign up for delivery, please contact Food Service at 217-351-3852.

Follow Champaign Unit 4 Schools on Facebook for updates on which other businesses will be featured this month.
