Tony and Louise are a local artist couple who have been doing artwork for over 30 years.

Louise’s focus is on painting watercolors; lately this has been in fish and aquatic creatures. She believes they provide an endless variety of colors and textures to explore. Louise has sold paintings locally―mostly through the Artists Against Aids project. In 2004, she was their top seller. She will also be displaying her work at Shared Space in downtown Urbana for the Boneyard Arts Festival, and plans to participate in the Artists Against Aids project again this year.

Tony has been taking photographs of traditional sailing ships since 1979, when he sailed aboard the Flying Cloud in the British Virgin Islands. He had a great experience that he potrays through his photography of sailing throughout the Caribbean, along the East Coast, and in several Tall Ship Parades in New York Harbor.

Tony’s photos have been displayed at the Champaign Public Library and at Church Street Square. His website is dedicated to the Brigantine ROMANCE, sail training, and Leisure Travel under sail.
