Thomas Herbert and a few of his colleagues (also known as Project Team #23) in Industrial Design at the UIUC will be holding a raffle this week starting today and ending May 2.
According to an e-mail from Herbert, “Prizes will be awarded to the top recyclers on campus. Rewards will be gift cards to various stores, and restaurants on campus; the winners will be determined by who recycles the most. The team will be monitoring this during Earth Week. The objective is to use our “E-Waste Kiosk” as a pilot model for both a study, and an earth week event. The kiosk is currently in the lobby of the Illinois Street Residence Hall (ISR).”
