Don’t sleep on Basil Thai

Have you visited Basil Thai recently? It’s over between Oregon and Nevada in Urbana, practically on the U of I campus, but technically not.

My husband and I were over that way yesterday for lunch, and we were not disappointed. He ordered the vegetable noodle soup ($10), and I ordered the pad kee mao with tofu ($10). The portions were very generous, and easily sharable. Both dishes were served piping hot, which was incredibly comforting on a cold, damp winter day.
