Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities is hosting an evening with Carrie Chandler, Emily McKown, and Olivia Tasch, members of Girls Rock! C-U, at Levis Faculty Center on October 16th at 7:30 p.m.
They will be leading an interactive discussion about the challenges women face as musicians, each drawing on their own experiences in the music scene.
The conversation will be moderated by Fiona Ngô, Associate Professor of Asian American Studies and Gender and Women’s Studies.
All are welcome and of course there will also be music!
