CU City Farms Mobile Market is bringing food to communities in need

CU City Farms, a project “committed to creating resilient, healthy, sustainable, and empowered communities through a strong local food system in Champaign-Urbana, providing job training, jobs, education, and access to healthy, fresh food in under-served communities” is launching a Mobile Market that will bring food to areas of C-U without easy access to food banks and grocery stores. It’s made possible by Carle Health, the Community Foundation of East Central Illinois, and the Mayors Innovation/Healthy Babies Bright Futures granting program.

Here is the current schedule for the market:
