Crane Alley is closing

Crane Alley announced on their Facebook page that they will be closing their doors after 19 years in Downtown Urbana. Their last day will be June 18th. From owner Scott Glassman:

It has been an honor to have owned Crane Alley for 19 years and to have been able to be a part of the community in such a unique way.

Thank you to everyone who supported us over the years. Thank you to our regulars who chose Crane Alley as their spot. And to all the employees past and present, thank you so very much for all your hard work and dedication throughout the years.

Please come out and join us to say goodbye and celebrate 19 years of
Crane Alley being a cornerstone of Downtown Urbana.

This is truly sad news for C-U. I will miss their patio, their weekly burger specials, the amazing buffalo chicken mac and cheese I had there last month, and of course, the pretzel bites.

Beginning June 8th, all beer and liquor and Crane Alley merchandise will be 50% off, and they will have deals on speciality glassware.
