If you are a parent, guardian, or family member of a Unit 4 student, the district is encouraging you to consider lending your skills to one of the many full and part time positions available. I know a lot of people who have done this, including myself, and it’s a good opportunity to do work that supports the district and meshes with your students’ schedules. Here are some of the positions they are looking to fill:
- Teacher aides
- Non-English language interpreters
- Substitute teachers and support staff
- Bus drivers and monitors
- Playground and lunchroom supervisors
- Kids Plus after school program
- Food service
The event will be Tuesday, August 27th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Mellon Building (703 S. New Street), and attendees are asked to bring résumés for on-site interviews. You can find out more here.
