The Studio is an 8,000 square foot space that will have “makerspace, computer lab, gaming area, and recording studios.” The Studio will be located on the lower level of the library, and is set to open in the summer of 2023.
This sort of multiuse tech space is something you can find in libraries in larger cities, like St. Louis, and it’s exciting that Champaign Public Library patrons will have access to these sorts of things.
