Tomorrow, Krannert Art Museum is proud to present a special performance as part of the 20th annual Chicago Asian American Jazz Festival in partnership with the Sudden Sound Concert Series. CAAJF is presenting 4 shows at 4 venues throughout the month of October, and this concert is the only one taking place outside Chicago city limits.
Jeff Chan’s Chicago Clarinet Conglomerate performs improvisations and composed works, features multiple clarinet voicings and will be joined by Tatsu Aoki on bass and shamisen. Aoki is the founder of Asian Improv aRts Midwest, and has performed at most of the CAAJF’s shows throughout the festival.
