Emo band Ordinary People are coming in from Sprinfrield, Miss. They play with a very healthy stack of locals from in and around town.

This edition of the Solo Showcase features members of Tara Terra, An Evening With Your Mother and more. It’ll be a cool, intimate show and I get to use another picture of Harrison Ford in this Overture entry.

Lonely Trailer is one of the most unique local bands out there, combining surf rock riffs with a 90s rock sensibility. Check them out at MNM’s Friday night.

Catch some classic rock covers via the Nickel and Dimes while indulging in some mason jars filled with booze.

I haven’t gotten the chance to catch this group yet, but I gather it’s a shifting lineup of “New Souls,” so you never know what you’re gonna get!

The Atlas Moth is one of the Chicago underground metal scene’s best products. Their music has a complexity and a largeness that goes beyond what most stoner metal bands put out. Joining them on the bill are local metal bands Resinater and Caecus.

Alternative rock and pop cover band Heel Dragger are going to make partying their priority at Cowboy on Saturday night.
