Performance Talk with Ryan Groff of Elsinore

Local musician Ryan Groff, lead singer for Elsinore, will be giving a Performance-Talk as part of Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities event series. Groff will perform some of his original music and speak to life as a songwriter, musician, and owner of Champaign’s Perennial Sound Studio.

Carrie Nation & The Speakeasy, Tara Terra, Sherwood Forest

Wichita-based “Brass ‘n’ Grass” outfit, Carrie Nation and the Speakeasy, will be holding court at Bloomington’s nightshop in a show made to kick off your weekend. Tara Terra (Champaign and Chicago) will also be performing along with Bloomington-Normal’s Sherwood Forest, a folk-rock group that’ll compliment Carrie Nation’s thrashfolk and Tara Terra’s alt rock.
