Soma Summer Nights series takes on soul and R&B this week. Local artists Cii La’ColeCrofton Coleman and The Amber SkyDeShawnMusicRosey, and more will be performing. The series opens up the floor to artists in hopes of providing a more “intimate, back-room” type of show, both the audience and performers can fully enjoy with no interruptions.

Riggs has officially been open for one whole year. To celebrate the anniversary they’ll be having a party with performances from Love Sign, The Caleb Cook Band, and more as well as some drone racing. Grab a beer, enjoy some tunes, and watch drones fly by.

2017 marks the fifth year for Audiofeed Music Festival being at the Champaign County Fairgrounds. The festival inspires to create an environment where love and community come first, hosting musical acts with many different backgrounds/styles as well as many different types of performances and religious services. Audiofeed has a place for everyone, bring in your 4th by coming out and having a good time.

This Sunday the Rose Bowl Tavern hosts a show you should not miss. Caleb Cook Band opens for Sarah Shook & the Disarmers from Chapell Hill, North Carolina. Two better bands couldn’t be paired together at the Rose Bowl, make sure to catch this show.

WHERE: Memphis on Main ($5, 21+ to enter)

WHEN: Sunday, July 2nd at 8 p.m.

Hosting Chicago bands Ratboys and Mother Evergreen joined by local support Euriah and Winder. Ratboys will have just released their album, GN, on the 30th, making this set very fresh. With support from the other three bands, this will be quite the show.
