Yep, it’s that time of the year again. January has rolled around, which means The Great Cover Up is here. Now in it’s 23rd year (whoa), TGCU is five nights. Five! No excuse not to make it out to at least a few of these. This week, they’ll go down on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.

You can head over to the Facebook event (linked above), to see al the acts who are set to perform on each night. Price varies, but you’ll pay either $5 or $7, which isn’t bad at all. There are also deals for the whole Cover Up if you’re going to multiple nights. This should be a good time.

Ryley is a 24 year-old singer/songwriter and guitarist from Chicago. He’s performing at Chicago’s Tomorrow Never Knows Fest, and has picked up a date here in C-U as well. He has a new album coming out later this year, so I would imagine his material will be made up of those songs. Check him out in a cool space at indi go this week.
