When members of Chicago bands Tortoise, The Cocktails and Shrimp Boat came together to form a new group, of course it would jazzy indie rock band The Sea and Cake. Even better, the local support on their Canopy Club comes from the shoegazey-indie combo of Withershins and Wicked Walls.
