According to owner Armando Sandoval, Maize will soon open in the Illini Union, taking over the space previously occupied by Qdoba. This makes another location you can get your fill of the legendary Mexican restaurant — Maize’s original location on First and Green, Maize at the Station, Maize’s food truck, and now this spot inside the Union.
While no exact date has been announced for its opening, we’ll be sure to update you when that is announced.
